Kim Stanley Robinson
Born in 1952, Kim Stanley Robinson has been producing powerhouse science fiction novels for the past 30 years. Best known for his award-winning Mars trilogy, Robinson writes utopian stories that search for a better future in a post-capitalist world.
Robinson earned degrees in literature and English from the University of California San Diego and Boston University. His doctorate was on Philip K. Dick. Ever a science fiction writer, Robinson has won two Hugos, two Nebulas, a World Fantasy, an Asimov, a Campbell, a World Fantasy, and a Locus. He also has a host of nominations for his short stories and novels.
Robinson currently lives in California, though he spent several years living in Switzerland.
