Michael Swanwick

Michael Swanwick is a writer who likes a challenge. Whether it is embarking on a career with little but ideas and determination or producing a short story a week that corresponds to each element on the periodic table, Swanwick has been a prolific and well-decorated science fiction writer since the early 80s.
Swanwick has numerous nominations and has won the Hugo, Nebula, Sturgeon, and World Fantasy Awards.
The son of an engineer, Swanwick followed a path from engineering to science and from science to literature.
